Be aware that each field has different prices and regulations. Some paintball fields require that you buy paintballs on site and do not allow carry on paint. Most fields will allow you the option of bringing your own paintball marker and equipment or renting from them. Prices will vary depending on what the field offers in regards to paintball action, as well as, the location and popularity of the field.
The type of paintball action you get at any field will be dependent on the features that the field offers. Some fields have several acres that are used to play a multitude of different types of games. Other fields have limited space and only offer one or two different ways to play. A field with both wooded areas and flat open areas can offer woodsball and speedball versions of several different scenario games. This can make a simple paintball excursion into a full day of playing several different types of games.
Of course, finding paintball action in your own backyard is also very possible and significantly more economical. If you have a few friends or family members that have some paintball equipment, you may be able to make a couple of teams and create your own paintball “field.” A paintball game really only requires two players, but the more players you have, the more interesting and lengthy the game will be. Also, more players give you the option of playing more complex scenario games.
Regardless of your experience, paintball action can be found anywhere you have a group of paintballers and a place to play whether it is a professional paintball field or simply your own backyard.
